Launch of the Worktopia National Employment Network
A community conversation was convened by The Sinneave Family Foundation and Autism Speaks Canada on April 1st, 2019 in Ottawa, Ontario.
Stakeholders from across Canada came together to co-design a national employment network with a shared goal to change the odds of employment success for people on the autism spectrum. A variety of perspectives were represented at the meeting including autistic individuals, family members, employers, agencies, policy makers, community members and researchers/clinicians. Nearly all event attendees expressed interest in ongoing participation in the Worktopia National Employment Network.
We are working together to CHANGE THE ODDS of employment success for individuals on the autism spectrum.
